What’s Combine Shipping?

When you purchase something in a store, the seller will usually proceed with your orders to ship immediately. While at Museigen Hobby, you can choose to hold your orders until you’re happy with your purchase and get everything to ship in a single shipment.

It is designed to help you save the unnecessary shipping cost from getting every order shipped individually. It also help saves your time and effort on tracking and managing to receive every parcel on time.

How Do Combine Orders Work?

Shop as usual and select “Combine Shipping” as your shipping option to proceed to checkout.

With the option “Combine Shipping” selected, we will NOT proceed with your order any further until you’re ready to ship.

Once we received your request, we’ll quote the necessary shipping fee in details via email within 1-3 working days.

Once you make a payment for the shipping, we’ll manage to ship out your order and update you with the tracking number.

Things You Might Want To Know

🕒 How long will you secured my orders? Does there a time/item limit?

Starting from January 2026, we’ve updated our holding policy to a maximum of 90 days from the date your item arrives at our warehouse.

Previously, we offered unlimited holding time — however, due to increasing issues such as:

  • Customers forgetting their orders

  • Storage space limitations

  • Inability to reach customers after long delays

We’ve made this change to prevent unnecessary misunderstandings or disputes, and to ensure smoother processing for everyone.

📌 Reminder:
We will only ship your items once you submit the Combine Orders Form. Please make sure to plan your shipping within the 90-day window. If additional time is needed, kindly contact us in advance.

🛑 What happens to unshipped orders stored in the warehouse between 2018–2025 if not collected by 2026?

Starting from May 2025, we began reaching out to customers via email with the subject:
Reminder: Unshipped Order Stored in Our Warehouse,
clearly stating a final deadline for arranging shipment.

Although we provided extended grace periods and did not mark orders as abandoned immediately after the deadline,
many customers have unfortunately not responded for over 3 months.

As a result, we regret to inform you that these long-overdue orders will be considered cancelled, and we will proceed to clear the storage space.

We deeply appreciate your understanding, and we’ve done our best to reach out multiple times before taking this step. If you believe your order was affected in error, please contact us immediately with your order number.

🚚 Which shipping method should I choose?

The best option for fast and reliable delivery is our Express Shipping Service — we highly recommend SF Express.
However, please note that express couriers calculate fees based on volumetric weight, so the cost will be higher compared to standard air shipping.

If you’re not in a rush, the International Air Parcel or E-Commerce Express services offer a more budget-friendly alternative with tracking included.

📌 If you selected “Shipping Fee Quote Manually”, we’ve received your request — we’ll contact you once the quote is ready based on your packed items and shipping destination.

🧾 How do I combine my orders if I checked out as a guest on my first purchase and registered an account on my second?

No problem at all!

If you used the same name and shipping address for both orders, simply email us your order numbers and explain the situation — we’ll help migrate your guest checkout order(s) into your registered account.

If you used a different name or address for either purchase, please include proof of purchase in your email (e.g. order confirmation email, invoice screenshot, etc.) so we can verify and assist you accordingly.

Once the orders are linked, you’ll be able to proceed with the Combine Orders Form as usual.

📦 What if I combine pre-order/backorder items with in-stock items?

If your combined order includes pre-order or backorder items, we won’t be able to provide a shipping fee quote immediately since those items are not yet in stock. In this case, we will keep your Combine Orders request on hold until the pending items arrive, and then proceed with packing and quoting.

However, if you wish to ship only the in-stock items first, just leave us a note in the Combine Orders Form (e.g. “Please ship all in-stock items first”) — we’re more than happy to follow your instructions and arrange the shipment accordingly.

📮 What should I do if I want to change my mailing address for my Combine Orders?

No worries — you can update your mailing address during the shipping fee payment process.

Once you submit the Combine Orders Form, we’ll email you the shipping fee quote along with clear payment instructions. When you’re ready to pay, you’ll be directed to our standard checkout page, where you’ll have the option to update your mailing address before completing the payment.

📝 Important:
We will use the mailing address from your latest checkout invoice as the final reference when preparing your shipment.

📧 What should I do if I’ve submitted my Combine Orders Form but haven’t received any email response?

Once you’ve submitted your Combine Orders Form, we typically send your shipping fee quote via email within 1–3 working days.

If you haven’t heard back from us, please first check your Spam / Junk / Promotions folder, as our email may have been filtered there.

📦 Note: If you’re combining more than 6 orders, it may take additional time due to packing complexity and limited box availability.

If there’s still no response after 3 working days, we recommend resubmitting the form, as a technical issue may have prevented us from receiving your request.

💡 Suggestion: Combine Orders Below USD $600 to Avoid Higher Taxes

Based on our recent experience, many countries impose higher charges when a shipment’s declared value exceeds USD $600. This doesn’t just include import taxes, but also other possible fees such as:

  • Customs clearance charges

  • Handling/service fees

  • Brokerage or documentation costs

📦 While combining multiple orders may reduce your shipping cost, it could also trigger higher import fees, which may outweigh the savings.

👉 If you’re not comfortable with paying higher taxes, we strongly recommend not combining too many orders into a single shipment.

Additional Request Will Be Rejected

Once you’ve submitted the Combine Orders Form, we will begin the packing and shipping cost calculation process immediately. At that point, we are unable to accept any additional items to be included in the same shipment.

📌 Please make sure you’ve finalized your decision before submitting the form, as it indicates your confirmation to proceed with shipping.

Restricted To Ship

Please note that we cannot ship flammable or restricted items such as paints, glues, and powders to international destinations due to safety and customs regulations.

In the past, some of these items were allowed via Surface Parcel Service (by sea), but this service has now been discontinued. As a result, no shipping option is currently available for such items internationally.

📌 If your order includes any restricted items, kindly contact us to arrange a cancellation or adjustment. We will issue a store credit coupon as a refund, which you can use for your next purchase.
