To request a cancellation and refund, here are a few things you must understand.

Refunds

 

  • Based on PayPal's policy, for orders placed within 6 months from the transaction date, the seller can proceed with the cancellation and refund directly from PayPal. Therefore, a request to cancel and refund for orders placed within 6 months will be proceeding within 24 hours once we reply to your request via email (t&c applied).
  • Based on PayPal's policy, for orders placed over 6 months from the transaction date, the seller cannot proceed with the cancellation and refund directly from PayPal. Therefore, a request to cancel and refund for orders placed over 6 months, you can choose either ONE of the following options:

Option 1: Refunds via "Send Money" method in PayPal

Since we're unable to proceed with the cancellation and refund via PayPal directly. Therefore, we'll need to use the "Send Money" method in PayPal to return the money manually. For every transaction made with PayPal when placing the order, there's a service charge of 4.99% + $0.49 from the amount you paid for the order, therefore, the total amount we refund will deduct 4.99% for example:

The amount you've paid for the order: $32.80
PayPal's Service Charge (4.99% + $0.49): - $2.13
The total amount we'll refund: $30.67

If option 1 is the option for you, simply provide your PayPal email address and we'll return the money to your PayPal via "Send Money" within 1-2 working days.

Option 2: Refunds via Coupon Code

With this option, we'll create a unique coupon code for you without any amount deduction, you'll get a full amount coupon code that you can use for anything in the Museigen Hobby store, including pre-order items, on-sales items, or shipping with no time limit. 

Non-Refundable Payment

 

Deposit For Pre-Order Items

The deposit of all pre-order items is non-refundable and non-switchable. If cancellation is requested, the deposit will be automatically transferred as a cancellation fee. The deposit is also non-switchable, request to switch to any other product is not accepted so kindly think twice before placing a pre-order.

 

Shipping Fees

Once an order is dispatched or in transit, a request for order cancellation is not accepted. For any reason, you persist in the request of order cancellation and refund, the shipping fee is non-refundable, plus you'll need to take care of the shipping cost for the order to return to us from the transiting.

 

Parcel Seize Due To Unpaid Taxes

All orders placed in Museigen Hobby DO NOT involve any charge of VAT, taxes, or duty fees, customers need to take full responsibility to clear the fees needed from the customs to avoid the order seize due to unpaid taxes. If the parcel got seize due to unpaid/incomplete taxes, VAT, or any fees that require to get the release from the customs, a request for a cancellation and refund is not accepted.

Bank Transfer (For Malaysia Customers Only)

 

Bank Transfer Payment

For orders placed with the payment method of "Bank Transfer" selected, kindly complete the payment via bank transferring within 3 days. If we didn't receive your payment within 3 days, we'll cancel the order and mark the order as "Completed", and your order will not be reserved. 

Returns

 

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the order back to us. To be eligible for a return, you must meet the requirements below. Otherwise, the return of the order will not be considered.

1.) You must inform us about the return within 14 days of the day you've received the parcel from the courier.

2.) The item must be returned in the same condition as when it was received - unused and unaltered with all the accessories original attached and in its original packaging. The goods will be inspected once received.

3.) Once we receive your returned product, we will refund the cost of the product to the account where the money sent from, except for the shipping fees if it's returned in the same condition as we delivered.

4.) The goods are the customer’s responsibility until they have reached our warehouse. Please ensure to package your returned items properly in order to avoid damages. This includes boxes, packaging, and tags. Museigen Hobby is not responsible for any items that are returned with damage.

5.) Once the item has been posted out, please update us with the tracking number.

6.) All courses of shipping charges are to be borne by the sender.

7.) All SALE and promotional-priced items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
